Thank you – from a Beauty Queen
The moderator received an email supposedly from a beauty queen. We can’t confirm if the email really came from her. Although she mentioned her name on the first email, she asked us on her second email if it is possible that she remain anonymous on this post. Anyway, here is the content of the email:

just wanted to let you know that i am in on this one. I have always dreamed of producing a tv documentary about what really goes on behind bb. pilipinas. and im glad i learned about this site. this is one step closer to a new dream of mine. a docu showing kung pano tratuhin ang mga nanay at iba pang staff (did you know that the nanays have worked there for as long as i can remember and they are not ‘regulars’ yet, bakit? para makatipid ang aranetas na bigyan sila ng benefits at tamang sahod. . kung pano paiyakin at pahirapan ang mga binibinis at paulit ulit na iremind samin na ‘utang na loob namin lahat sa binibining pilipinas at sa mga aranetas lahat ng narating namin. ang dami dami dami dami dami dami daming kamalian na dapat na talagang mabago. para sa mga susunod din na generations ng beauty queens at para kila nanay at iba pang staff…
marami pa kong kasamang beauty queens who are willing to stand up and be heard. so please feel free to post this as well, and by the way, don’t people ever wonder where all the money they earn from us (the binibinis go to which they say are for charity?) – sure we treat a group of orphans once a year, but that’s it…. with all the money they get from sponsors, they dont’ pay taxes because it’s a ‘charitable organization’ daw, etc. etc….
I pray that God will bless your site and use it to teach Araneta Center a lesson and put things right for all the people who were harrassed are harrassed and are not being treated fairly and so on… at magakalakas ng loob lahat ng tao na dapat sabihin. thanks! you’re an inspiration.

(and the Araneta Group which includes the employees of Progressive Development Corporation, Philippine Pizza Inc. and UNIPROM working on Taco Bell, Ticketnet, Araneta Coliseum and other smaller entities) DO NOT HAVE A VOICE. TAGA ARANETA CENTER KA BA?
Ito ay isang panawagan sa lahat ng nagtatrababaho (at maging sa mga dating empleyado) sa Araneta Center at sa buong Araneta Group na sumali sa ating pag-uusap tungkol sa ating kalagayan at naging kalagayan bilang manggagawa.
Kung may alam ka rin na katiwalian na ginawa ng management ng Araneta Group na sa tingin mo ay may epekto sa atin bilang mamamayan at bilang Pilipino tulad na lang ng hindi tamang pagbayad ng buwis ng Araneta Center at buong Araneta Group, o kaya ay pagsusuhol sa mga taga BIR, maari mo ring ipahayag dito.
Sa pamamagitan ng website na ito, nais din nating maipaabot kay Mr. Palengke (Senador Mar Araneta Roxas), kung ano ang mga nangyayari sa mga empleyado ng mga kompanya na pag-aari ng kanilang pamilya. (Para sa hindi pa nakakaalam, si Senador Mar Roxas ay anak ni Judy Araneta Roxas na kapatid ni Jorge L. Araneta at ni Maria A. Fores). Inaasahan natin na sa pamamagitan ng ating mga boses, pwedeng patunayan ni Senador Mar Roxas kung siya ay talagang maka Pilipino at nagsisilbi sa mga maliliit na tao tulad nating mga empleyado ng kanilang kompanya. (Alam naman namin na naghahangad din si Senador Mar Roxas na maging Presidente ng Pilipinas).
Kaya, halina at ipahayag ang iyong reklamo at saloobin!. Huwag mangamba. Hindi malalaman ng management kung sino ka.

The Bb. Pilipinas charities is one big scam. You are so right binibining maganda. Haven’t you noticed that the charity photo ops that are regularly seen in Bb. Pilipinas beauty pageants have been mostly the same footages – some dating back to the Pinatubo days? And haven’t you noticed that most of them only shows la esposa Colombiana de Jorge in her best Mother Teresa act? Practically all of the goodies that are given during the “charity day” kuno and Christmas holiday on ice extravaganzas (done during the final dress rehearsal mind you) actually come from sponsors and not from the millions of sponsorship fees that accrue to it. For all its “beauty with a purpose” hypocrisy, the scam does not support and sustain any institution on a continuous basis. In short…PHOTO OP lang. It would be very interesting if the FS of that “charity”is scrutinized. For the supposed to be non-profit organization, puro accrued income lang.
Sometimes it’s just so incomprehensible how some people can be soooooo GREEDY despite their wealth. Ginagawa pang charity ang kanilang mga sarili.
So where can you find the money? For starters try Florida.
