Any reactions from the management?

We have shouted and we have been heard. But they were not listening to us. Our appeal for Mr. Palengke remains an appeal. We hope that he will not wait until a million or more people will visit this site and see that our appeal is still not acted upon . (For the information of Sen. Mar Roxas, this website was visited by more or less 3,500 people in 7 days. Please ask your IT people on the significance of this number of unique hits).

Our appeal has also been posted on the Inquirer Online (http://opinion.inq7.net/inq7viewpoints/letters/view_article.php?article_id=10362)

Management through the IT department decided to suppress our voices by blocking this website and preventing us employees from reading and posting our own comments.

They were even trying to identify the true identity of the people who posted their own comments.

We are not just asking for the PMS of 2005. Hear our voices… And listen to us….

  1. Delayed payment of incentives and bonuses as promised by the management. Nanghihinayang sila sa magiging interest sa money market for almost 3 years.
  2. Delayed increase of salaries as promised based on the PMS and other basis.
  6. Non-suppression of our rights to organize ourselves
  9. Equal work, equal pay.
  10. Payment of the benefits to resigned employees (example, the computation for the PMS for 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 was only finalized in December 2005. Employees who resigned in 2005 were not given their bonuses for 2002, 2003 and 2004 dahil resigned na daw sila ng matapos ang computation ng PMS.

Calling the BIR

As a concerned Filipino, I would like to call the attention of the BIR to make an inquiry on the tax payments of Araneta Center, Inc. and the other companies under the Araneta Group.

Yes, the Araneta Center is paying taxes. But the big question is, IS IT THE CORRECT TAX PAYMENT?

Union in Araneta Center

We have known that a union was organized before in Araneta Center. There was even a strike by a union of security guards.

But what happened?

Post your comments here….

HRD Heads

When the Araneta Group decided to “professionalize” its management in 2000, Louie W. Limgenco (LWL) was hired from SGV as the Vice President for HR. He was handling all the HR concerns of Progressive Development Corporation, Araneta Center Inc. and UNIPROM Inc.. The HR of Philippine Pizza Inc. was headed by Janet M. Solsoloy (JMS).

In 2004, Belen Layno (BL) was hired supposedly to assist LWL. But JLA (Jorge L. Araneta) decided to organize a separate HR to focus on the concerns for ACI. Based on the Table of Organization, BL was supposed to be under LWL, but BL was reporting directly to JLA and TRA (Teddy R. Asuncion, the President of ACI). Parang demotion kay LWL???

Eventually, LWL submitted his resignation (siguro sa sama ng loob???). Syanga pala, bakit kaya hanggang ngayon, di pa nakukuha ni LWL ang kanyang terminal pay?

On December 2004, BL took a FORCED LEAVE. Bakit kaya? On January 2005, JLA sent a memo to the employees of ACI that JMS will take over the HRD. (Parang hindi yata ito alam ni Lars Peterson, the COO of Pizza Hut).

Sa ngayon, JMS is still on top of HRD of the whole Araneta Group.
